Open-source software
KiteRelay is built on free and open-source software, and we are grateful to the projects behind it. Each component below stays under its own license. This page tells you which components those are, where to get their source, and how to request it.
Where to get the source
KiteRelay ships one component that we changed: uStreamer, under the GNU GPL v3. We publish its complete corresponding source, which is upstream version 6.61 plus our patch and a build script, at:
https://github.com/kiterelay-oss/ustreamer
Written offer for source code
For any component licensed under the GNU GPL or LGPL, you are entitled to the corresponding source. The other GPL and LGPL components we ship (for example Janus, cryptsetup, NetworkManager, the Linux kernel, and the other packages that come from the operating system) are unmodified, and their source is available from their upstream projects and from the operating system's own source archives.
In addition, for three years from the date you received your KiteRelay, the seller will provide the complete corresponding source for any GPL or LGPL component on written request, for no more than our cost of distribution. Write to support@kiterelay.com.
Components and licenses
These are the principal open-source components. The operating-system base contains many more packages under permissive and copyleft licenses; their notices are included in the operating system itself and available from its source archives.

The KiteRelay application itself
The KiteRelay backend, dashboard, and web interface are the seller's own proprietary software. They are not covered by the open-source licenses above. Only the third-party components listed here are open source.
Questions about any of this, or a request for source, go to support@kiterelay.com.
